Navbodh Prakashan is dedicated to enlightening minds and spreading knowledge through the power of literature, our mission is to publish and promote books that inspire, educate, and ignite a love for reading. We strive to be a beacon of enlightement.

Shri Lalchand Agrawal ji was born on 12th January 1936 in Mathura in the house of Shri Bhagwan Das Agrawal. He got his primary education in Mathura, thereafter he graduated from Bhopal. He got the job of a government teacher at the age of 21. Along with training teachers in Basic Teaching Training Institute (BTI) Narsinghgarh, he also used to teach students free of cost. In 1967, he resigned from his job and settled in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

An idea of opening a publication firm, came to his mind after coming in Raipur. So he started publishing books of the local literary persons and historians of that time such as Satyabhama Adil, Hari Thakur, Dr. Ashok Shukla, Bhawani Prasad Shadangi and so on. Unfortunately he suffered a big loss as literature books had not been popular among people in general. Thus, he stopped publishing books and started selling books. He redesigned old books and started publishing books again and founded “YUGBODH PUBLICATION” in 1985.

After renewing and redesigning his own English, Hindi and Sanskrit grammar books as “My”, “मेरी”, “मम्” he published them. The books published by him became soon very popular in M.P. and C.G. in a very short time. Teachers and students in general benefited from these books very much. He always gave ample scopes and break-through to many talented writers of M.P. and C.G. through his publication. He himself wrote many books and edited many other books.

Shri Lalchand Agrawal ji had been an extraordinary personality both physically and intellectually. He had been a simple and self-respecting person. He lived a simple life but he had been adapting himself skillfully according to time and generation. He breathed his last at the age of 88 due to old age and physical illness.
